| A rhythm explosion! Enter a musical playground filled with drums from around the world! Through rhythm games & activities, you'll learn authentic drumming techniques, body percussion, STOMP, mallet techniques for bass & alto xylophones and a variety of Latin, African & world rhythms. We'll use tubanos, djembes, bongos, talking drums as well as boomwhackers, body percussion & STOMP! as we perform, create & respond to music. This fun class will build a solid sense of rhythm, phrasing, listening skills & coordination. It also develops improvisation skills and teamwork as we compose musical stories on the drum Tuition is $225 for a 16 week semester or $45 per month (only $200 for current piano students or $40 per month).
